Job summary

DIVERSIFIED SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking an eager intern to support accounting software testing and administrative tasks. You will help design test scenarios, verify financial modules against SFRS, and assist with data entry and documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• Familiar with SFRS, with a working knowledge of Singapore corporate income tax and GST.
• Internship experience in bookkeeping, audit, tax or corporate secretarial work is a plus; experience with Xero, QuickBooks or similar software is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Design test scenarios and data based on SFRS to cover bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, period-end adjustments and financial statements.
• Test GST and corporate income tax features, comparing outputs with manual calculations.
• Log issues and suggest improvements to business logic and workflows from an accounting perspective.
• Assist in preparing test cases, user guides and other documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Software Testing
  • Design test scenarios and test data based on SFRS, covering bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, period-end adjustments and financial statement generation
  • Test GST and corporate income tax features (e.g. GST F5 returns, Form C-S data), checking software outputs against manual calculations
  • Log and report issues, and suggest improvements to business logic and workflows from an accounting perspective
  • Assist in preparing test cases, user guides and other documentation
• Accounting, Administrative & Corporate Secretarial Support
  • Assist with clients' bookkeeping, document sorting and data entry
  • Assist in preparing corporate secretarial documents, such as directors' resolutions, meeting minutes and annual filing materials
  • Help organise and maintain client records and statutory registers
  • Handle day-to-day office administration, including filing, scanning and routine client communication

Requirements
