Job summary

USHIO ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to manage daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, reconciliation, month-end closing and tax compliance.

The role involves handling vendor and customer accounts, processing invoices with PO/GRN matching, and supporting audits. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance and experience with AP/AR, account reconciliation, and month-end processes, plus familiarity with GST/VAT.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Senior Accounts Executive to manage daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, reconciliation, month-end closing and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Process and verify purchase and sales invoices, including PO/GRN matching.
• Maintain and reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
• Perform bank and payment reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, adjustments and support month-end closing.
• Monitor AR ageing and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Support GST/VAT and withholding tax preparation and compliance.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
• Prepare accounting reports and schedules for management.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Handle accounting-related queries from vendors and customers.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Relevant experience in AP, AR and account reconciliation.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and month-end closing.
• Experience with accounting software and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of GST/VAT and withholding tax is an advantage.
• Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
