Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2-4 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
• Preferably, possession of or working towards ACCA or similar qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full set of accounts.
• Prepare data for entry into the financial system.
• Maintain accounting records and bank statements.
• Prepare monthly audit schedules and loan schedules.
• Prepare and file GST returns.
• Prepare tax computation and tax planning.
• Filing tax returns and updating management on regulatory changes.
• Provide supporting functions to the Division.
• Attend to ad hoc duties as required.

About the role

CF Accounting Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Accounting Executive to join our team in the Central Region on a full-time basis. This role is fundamental to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and reporting processes. As an Accounting Executive, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the broader financial objectives of the organisation. This position offers the opportunity to develop your expertise in financial accounting and reporting whilst working with a professional and collaborative team.

What you'll be doing

• Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of full set of accounts
• Prepare financial data for entry into the financial system
• Keep accounting records and bank statements
• Prepare monthly audit schedules, and maintain loan schedules
• Prepare and file GST returns
• Preparation of tax computation and tax planning
• Filling tax returns on time and updating the management about new changes in rules and regulations.
• Provide other supporting functions to the Division
• Other ad hoc duties

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in an accounting role (from an accounting or audit firm)
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information
• Preferably, possession of or working towards professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA
