Job summary

IVF Investment and Credit Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an Accountant to join the Finance team. This newly created role offers exposure to full-set accounting, treasury reporting, financial statements, regulatory reporting, cash flow management, and SAP-based financial operations.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of relevant experience, a finance/accounting degree, and professional qualifications or progress toward them. SAP experience is advantageous. This position is based in Singapore.

• Maintain full set of accounts and General Ledger (GL).
• Prepare annual financial statements.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Liaise with external auditors and support audit requirements.
• Prepare management reports and internal financial reporting.
• Assist with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
• Prepare withholding tax and other tax submissions.
• Monitor daily cash flow and treasury activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team in Singapore. This is a newly created position supporting the team's continued growth. The successful candidate will gain exposure to full-set accounting, treasury reporting, financial statements, regulatory reporting, cash flow management, and SAP-based financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounts and General Ledger (GL)
• Prepare annual financial statements

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Professional accounting qualification, or currently pursuing a recognised qualification (e.g. CA Singapore, ICAEW, ACCA or CPA), would be an advantage
• Approximately 1-3 years of relevant professional experience
• Prior experience in external audit with a Big Four accounting firm will be highly advantageous
• Experience in accounting, financial reporting, treasury operations, financial institutions, or other professional services environments will also be considered favourably
• Experience in SAP would be an advantage
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets
• High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
