Job summary

Saitech International Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an Accountant to prepare and maintain financial statements, consolidate accounts across entities, and support month-end and year-end closings.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of accounting experience, strong SAP FI/CO skills, advanced Excel, and the ability to analyze budgets and provide insightful financial reporting for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• 3–7 years of relevant accounting experience, including consolidation.
• Hands-on SAP experience (FI/CO preferred) and financial reporting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements per accounting standards.

• Maintain GL, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.

Job description

Our client is engaged in trading of steel/agri products/ energy raw material. They have a requirement for an ACCOUNTANT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Perform consolidation of accounts for multiple entities and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare financial projections, cash flow forecasts, and profitability analyses to support management decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for cost control and financial improvement.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and internal financial reporting requirements.
• Generate management reports and provide financial insights to senior management.
• Utilize SAP for accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and other finance-related activities.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and required documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.
