Job summary

EigenEnergy is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, from receivables and payables to bank deposits and budgeting, within the Finance Department. You will report to the Finance Manager and contribute to monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and intercompany reconciliation across entities.

The role requires a Diploma in Accounting & Finance, 4+ years' PQE, and proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Xero; Singapore payroll knowledge is

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent qualification.
• 4+ years post-qualification accounting experience in relevant fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Xero.
• Strong IFRS/SFRS knowledge and revenue recognition skills.
• Accurate, detail-oriented and able to work independently to tight deadlines.
• Proficient MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
• Working knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and MOM payroll obligations.

Responsibilities

• Execute receivables and payables, reconcile accounts and GL.
• Perform daily bank reconciliation and manage banking transactions.
• Calculate and process payroll in line with MOM/Thailand statutory requirements.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
• Consolidate accounts across entities; intercompany reconciliation.
• Prepare group consolidation reports in line with accounting standards.
• Support project costing and gross margin tracking for EPC contracts.
• Manage month-end close (GL balancing, intercompany reconciliation, documentation).
• Assist with tax reconciliation and liaise with banks on queries.
• Partner with Operations on vendor payments and cash forecasting.
• Provide Finance Manager with monthly commentary on cash position and liquidity.

Job description

EigenEnergy is a systems integrator for solar energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, with technical competencies in engineering andconstruction,energymanagement, softwareengineeringand cross platform integration.

We are looking for an Accountant to manage the financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The individual will be expected to work within the Finance Department and closely with theOperationsto provideaccuratequantitative information on financial position,liquidityand cash flows.

The role will report to the Finance Manager.

Day-to-day operations:

• Execute receivables and payables processes; manage accounts reconciliation and general ledger
• Perform daily bank reconciliation and manage banking transactions
• Calculate and process payroll in line with MOM/Thailand statutory requirements

Reporting & consolidation:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis against budget
• Consolidateaccounts across entities; manage intercompany transaction reconciliation
• Prepare group consolidation reports in line with accounting standards

Project & compliance:

• Support project costing and gross margin tracking for EPC contracts
• Manage month-end close process (GL balancing, intercompany reconciliation, documentation)
• Support audit and tax compliance queries;assistwith tax reconciliation
• Liaise with banks on transaction queries and facility management

Cross-functional:

• Partner with Operations on vendor payment schedules and cash forecasting
• Provide Finance Manager with monthly commentary on cash position and liquidity

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 4 years' post-qualification accounting experience (preferably in systems integration, construction, or project-based business)
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Business Central or Xero (primary)
• Strong grasp of accounting principles (SFRS/IFRS); ability to apply judgment in revenue recognition and accrual accounting
• Accurate, detail-oriented with proven ability to work independently to tight deadlines
• Competence in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas)
• Working knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and MOM payroll obligations

GOOD TO HAVE

• Experience with multi-entity or regional consolidation
• Familiarity with fixed asset management or project accounting
• Exposure to construction/EPC business models
• Experience with Thailand statutory accounting/tax
