Job summary

SILVER VALLEY PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated accounting professional to handle daily transactions, maintain records, and assist with month-end closing in a Singapore office.

Ideal candidates hold a accounting-related diploma or degree, with 1–3 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and a responsible, independent work approach.GST knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Singapore accounting practices and GST requirements.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to meet deadlines.
• Responsible and able to handle confidential financial information.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments and staff expense claims.
• Maintain the general ledger and assist with month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Assist with GST submissions and other statutory reporting requirements.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and other external parties when required.
• Assist with annual audit and year-end closing matters.
• Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform other accounting-related duties and ad-hoc assignments as required.
