Job summary

LOTTE Travel Retail Singapore is seeking an experienced finance professional to own financial reporting and month-end close across multiple stores. You will prepare and close monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to management.

You will oversee AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, and regulatory filings, liaising with auditors, tax agents, and authorities. A strong MS Excel and MS Office skillset, plus planning and initiative, are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional accountancy qualifications with degree in accountancy.
• Experience in financial reporting and month-end processes.
• Ability to coordinate with auditors, tax agents and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely month-end closing and management reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Oversee accounting processes including AP/AR, GL, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties, including auditors and tax agents.
• Assist in process improvements and system implementations.

Job description

1) Financial Reporting

• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
• Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

2) Month-End and Year-End Closing

• Manage the financial reporting including the preparation of financial reports, such as profit and loss account, balance sheet, management financial report, and regulatory reports and filings

3) Financial Management Operations

• Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (ie. AP & AR process, GL, Account Reconciliation, etc.)
• Coordinate and liaise with internal parties
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities
• Support and ensure compliance with finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement, audit and procedures
• Assist in new processes and system implementation when required

4) Reconciliation & Audit Schedules

• Prepare Audit Schedules & Reconciliation

5) Statutory Reporting & Tax Compliance

• Financial Year-End Audit preparation
• Corporate Income Tax preparation

• Professional Accountancy Qualification, Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• At least 5 years of working experience, preferably Senior Executive specializing in Accounting & in Retail multi-stores background
• Must have min intermediate or advance MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
• A self-starter who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and multiple deadlines independently
• Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work
