Responsibilities

• Prepare and close monthly financial statements and management reports
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Oversee AP/AR, GL, reconciliations and compliance with tax/audit requirements
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities
• Support system implementation and new accounting processes
• Prepare audit schedules and reconciliation
• Participate in statutory reporting and corporate income tax preparation

Job description

Job Responsibilities

1) Financial Reporting

• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
• Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

2) Month-End and Year-End Closing

• Manage the financial reporting including the preparation of financial reports, such as profit and loss account, balance sheet, management financial report, and regulatory reports and filings

3) Financial Management Operations

• Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (ie. AP & AR process, GL, Account Reconciliation, etc.)
• Coordinate and liaise with internal parties
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities
• Support and ensure compliance with finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement, audit and procedures
• Assist in new processes and system implementation when required

4) Reconciliation & Audit Schedules

• Prepare Audit Schedules & Reconciliation

5) Statutory Reporting & Tax Compliance

• Financial Year-End Audit preparation
• Corporate Income Tax preparation
