Job summary

Staffhub Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the full set of accounts, handle daily and bank reconciliations, and prepare monthly P&L alongside month-end closing.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, with at least 3 years’ related experience, GST returns, audits liaison, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced Marine & Oil & Gas environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of related accounting experience.
• Able to handle full set of accounts and month-end processes.
• Experience with GST returns and audit liaison is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the full set of accounts and perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly P&L and complete month-end closing with proper journals.
• Liaise with auditors and external bodies for audits and compliance.
• Handle ad hoc accounting duties in a fast-paced Marine & Oil & Gas environment.

• Must have working experience to handle full set of accounts
• Perform daily reconciliation, bank reconciliation on daily and monthly basis
• Prepare monthly P&L
• Complete the month end closing process and review all journals, posting & reconcilliations to ensure proper compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare GST Returns
• Preparation of audit schedule
• Liaise with external auditors, statutory bodies, company secreterial, bankers and other consultants for audit/ financial and banking matters
• Any other adhoc duties
• Able to multi-task and work with tight deadlines
• Fast pace working environment (Marine & Oil & Gas Industry)
• 5.5 days (Alternate Sat off)
• Applicant who is able start work immediately/ within short notice is highly preferred.
