Job summary

M.Tech is seeking a meticulous finance professional to join the regional finance team in Singapore. You will manage daily accounts, support monthly regional closing, check payments, and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

You will liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers, prepare financial statements, and help with regional tax filings, reporting to the Accountant and Regional Finance Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or other relevant professional qualifications.
• Applicants with minimum 2 years accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily full spectrum of accounts.
• Responsible for monthly regional accounts closing.
• Check payments prepared by regional team.
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and accounting policies.
• Prepare annual financial statements and review regional tax filings.
• Reports to Accountant and Regional Finance Manager.
• Liaise with external auditor, tax agent, corporate secretary and bankers in relation to external audit, tax submissions and bank related matters; and
• Any other duties as and when assigned.

They should be comfortable working independently and as part of a regional finance team, with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to meet reporting deadlines and ensure accuracy in financial and accounting matters.

Requirements:

• ERP system (NetSuite) knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Has positive attitudes and able to work independently in a team.
• Has good attention to details, good time management and able to meet deadlines.
