Job summary

Seo Eng Joo Frozen Food Pte Ltd is seeking a meticulous Finance Assistant to join the finance team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates in Accountancy who want to build a solid foundation in corporate accounting and finance operations.

The successful candidate will handle daily accounting clerical tasks, support end-to-end finance processes, and ensure accurate financial record keeping in line with company standards, with on-site work 5.5 days a week at our Buroh Lane location.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• AP/AR support: assist in daily AP/AR activities, documentation, and basic processing.
• Daily receipts record keeping: maintain up-to-date receipts in the accounting system for audit purposes.
• Bank reconciliation: assist monthly reconciliations and flag discrepancies.
• Compliance & documentation: adhere to internal controls and proper filing per company standards.
• Perform other ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned by the finance supervisor.

Job description

We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Finance Assistant to join our finance team. This role is perfectly suitable for fresh graduates in Accountancy who are eager to build a solid foundation in corporate accounting and finance operations. The candidate will handle daily accounting clerical tasks, support end-to-end finance processes, and ensure accurate financial record keeping in compliance with company standards.

• AP/AR Support: Assist in daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including transaction sorting, document collation, payment follow-up and basic accounting processing.




• Daily Receipts Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, complete and up-to-date daily receipts records in the company accounting system; ensure all receipt data is correctly logged and filed for audit purposes.




• Bank Reconciliation: Assist the finance team in monthly/regular bank account reconciliation, verify bank transactions against internal records, and highlight discrepancies for follow-up.




• Compliance & Documentation: Adhere strictly to company internal control policies; ensure all financial documents are properly sorted, filed, stored and managed in accordance with document management standards.




• Perform other ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks assigned by the finance supervisor

You will be required to work 5.5 days work week on-site and office location is at Buroh Lane.
