Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a highly driven Business Development Personnel to lead new business acquisition across the logistics and supply chain sector in Singapore. This hunter role focuses on building a pipeline, engaging senior decision-makers, and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in 4PL/3PL selling, can articulate complex logistics solutions, and will report to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Commercial roles within 4PL, supply chain management, logistics, or related industries.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in selling or developing 4PL solutions is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of 3PL operations and solutions, including warehousing, transportation, distribution, and inventory management.
• Proven track record of hunting and winning new business, rather than primarily managing existing accounts.
• Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and longer sales lead times.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a targeted business development strategy for new customer acquisition.
• Identify and engage customers across healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device, and other relevant industries.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, market intelligence, and strategic outreach.
• Identify organizations with complex logistics and supply chain requirements and develop opportunities around 4PL and 3PL solutions.
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers, including C-suite, supply chain, procurement, logistics, and operations leaders.
• Own the business development cycle from initial prospecting and qualification through solution development, negotiation, and contract closure.
• Consistently achieve agreed business development, pipeline, revenue, and customer acquisition targets.
