Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a Mail Processing Assistant in the East of Singapore. You will process and sort mail items, handle hand-delivered items, and ensure accurate data entry within the internal system. You will also assist with return mail, mail redirection, and production of regular reports.

This role involves sorting and movement of items up to 10–15 kg, collaboration with the delivery team, and a 42-hour workweek with standard daytime hours at the East site.

Responsibilities

• Process and sort various mail items, registered articles, trackable packets, and parcels.
• Handle hand-delivered items, including scanning, preparing delivery advice, sorting, and handover.
• Process returned mail and postage due items.
• Assist with mail redirection and mail retention services.
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of information in the internal system.
• Check and ensure proper transfer of data between systems.
• Verify that undelivered items are correctly returned by postmen.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports/statistics.
• Manage and maintain stock items.
• Attend to enquiries relating to mail delivery issues.
• Assist with the movement and sorting of items, including packages weighing approximately 10-15kg.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Working Hours: 42 hours per week

Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
