Job summary

SEARCH AVENUE PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore East is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to receive and process parcels as they arrive, sort shipments by destination and priority, and prepare items for dispatch with care.

You will scan parcels, verify tracking details and labels, assist with loading and unloading, keep the warehouse tidy and safe, and support daily activities in a busy, hands-on environment. Training is provided and no prior warehousing experience is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Physically able to handle and move parcels.
• Attention to accurate sorting, scanning and labeling of shipments.

• Prepare parcels for dispatch by arranging, labelling and moving them to the correct areas.
• Ensure parcels are properly organized and transferred to the relevant staging or dispatch zones.
• Support daily warehouse activities and other logistics-related tasks as assigned.
• Keep the warehouse tidy, orderly and compliant with safety requirements.
• Handle all parcels carefully while following established warehouse procedures and work instructions.

• Keep the warehouse tidy, orderly and compliant with safety requirements.

Job Requirements

• No warehouse experience is necessary; training will be provided.
• Physically fit and comfortable handling and moving parcels.
• Able to cope with a busy and physically active warehouse environment.
• Reliable, responsible and willing to work as part of a team.
• Careful and attentive when handling, scanning and sorting shipments.
• Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, parcel handling, delivery hubs or operations will be an advantage.

Working location: East

Working hours: 5.5 days workweek Mon- Fri 10am-7pm/ Sat/ Sun 10am-2pm/ 2pm-6pm
