Job summary

SHIN KHAI CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a skilled 2D/3D Drafter to support project teams with accurate technical drawings and construction documentation in Singapore. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with a strong understanding of local building practices and site coordination.

You will prepare and revise 2D drawings and 3D models, coordinate with project managers and site teams, and assist with BIM modelling.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building, Drafting or related discipline.
• Practical 2D/3D drafting experience in Singapore's construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit and related 3D drafting software.
• Good understanding of Singapore construction drawings, local building practices/codes and site requirements.
• Able to interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings.
• Familiar with shop drawing preparation, coordination and as-built documentation.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update 2D drawings and 3D models for construction projects.
• Produce architectural, structural and construction detail drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Prepare and revise shop drawings, coordination drawings and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants and site teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Review drawings to identify discrepancies, clashes and coordination issues.
• Incorporate design changes and site feedback into drawings promptly.
• Maintain proper drawing records, revisions and documentation.
• Assist with BIM modelling and coordination where applicable.
