Job summary

Maestro HR is seeking an Application Support Engineer to provide software application support, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve incidents within SLA. The role requires shift work for 24/7 coverage and is based onsite at Changi Airport.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in software applications, with strong Java, PHP, Python, C#.Net, and SQL/PLSQL skills, plus Linux/Windows Server proficiency. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with ≥1 year of software application development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java, PHP, Python, C#.Net, SQL/PLSQL, APIs RESTful and SOAP, and shell scripting.
• Proficient with SQL Server, MySQL, and MS Access; Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills, with L1/L2 support experience.
• Team player with fast learning ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide software application support and bug fixing for maintained applications.
• Participate in implementing application enhancements as required.
• Communicate with end users and IT teams to understand issues and propose solutions.
• Resolve incidents within SLA and recover services.
• Coordinate with support team and Service Delivery Manager on issues.
• Document and track incidents; provide progress updates.
• Coordinate monthly maintenance, patching, hotfix testing, deployments.
• Update project documentation per QMS processes.
