Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Tier 2 Technical Support professional to handle MFD software, network, DFE and colour-related issues on a 1-year contract basis.

The role requires a diploma in IT/Engineering, 2–3 years in a technical support/field engineering role, and hands-on MFD experience. You will work with Kerberos/LDAP/AD and DFE systems, with opportunities for growth and certification.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years in a technical support or field engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with MFD installation and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Kerberos, LDAP, Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, SMB.
• Experience with DFE systems (Fiery or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of colour management and ICC profiling is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving and customer‑facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 technical support for escalated MFD software, network, DFE and colour-related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues within SLA timelines, documenting root causes and solutions.
• Troubleshoot network scanning, connectivity and authentication issues (SMB, FTP, WebDAV, LDAP, etc.).
• Perform on-site installation, configuration and testing of Multifunction Devices (MFDs).
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Digital Front End (DFE) systems, including Fiery or equivalent.
• Perform software updates, patch management and routine system maintenance.
• Conduct colour calibration, ICC profiling and troubleshoot colour consistency issues.
• Liaise with customer IT teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth system integration.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Customer Service Engineers.
