Job summary

RPS Softwares AB in Sweden is seeking an experienced OT SCADA Engineer to strengthen wind‑farm SCADA systems and OT data flows. You will design, deploy, and maintain OT SCADA systems, edge devices, and secure data pipelines to ensure reliable real‑time and historical data across wind assets.

The role involves engineering support, governance, and collaboration with OEMs and IT/OT teams, with emphasis on OPC UA, REST APIs, and industry standards for secure, scalable integration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years OT/SCADA experience; 5+ preferred, ideally in wind/utilities.
• 7+ years with wind-turbine and substation SCADA systems, OT/IT integration.
• OPC UA and REST APIs experience (required).
• Merit: OPC DA, OPC XML‑DA, MQTT, IEC 60870‑5‑104, IEC 61850, IEC 61400‑25, Modbus TCP, SQL databases; event‑streaming techs.
• Merit: Node‑RED for integration workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain OT SCADA systems, industrial edge devices, and secure data pipelines across wind assets, ensuring reliable real‑time and historical data flows.
• Engineering Support & Governance: provide incident support, root‑cause analysis, cybersecurity implementation, and cross‑functional collaboration with OEMs and IT/OT teams while maintaining documentation.
