Job summary

Vattenfall is looking for a Senior Operational Technology (OT) Architect to define and govern the OT architecture across their renewable energy portfolio. This role involves acting as a technical authority on SCADA and OT systems, ensuring high-quality solutions across projects. You'll guide engineering teams, drive competency development, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.

Candidates should have extensive experience in OT architecture and SCADA systems, as well as excellent communication skills and a proven track record in standardization and governance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in OT architecture within renewable energy, particularly with SCADA systems.
• Proven experience in acting as a senior technical lead or authority.
• Hands-on knowledge of Level 1 SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce OT architecture strategy for SCADA and automation systems.
• Guide and challenge engineering teams to improve design decisions.
• Provide technical leadership in vendor selection and system upgrades.
