Job summary

Foxway is launching a new Walk-in Service in Södertälje and seeks a Walk-in Technician to provide hands-on technical support to customers visiting the service.

You will diagnose devices, perform swaps, document findings, and collaborate with repair teams, while explaining issues clearly to customers. This role requires IT hardware experience, strong troubleshooting, and a service-minded approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with IT hardware, technical support, device repair, service desk or similar technical work.
• Good understanding of computers, mobile devices and common hardware/software issues.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical processes.
• A service-minded approach and confidence working directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial diagnostics on devices.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
• Assess device condition and determine the appropriate next step.
• Perform device SWAPs according to established processes.
• Triage repair cases and route them for further technical handling when needed.
• Check device eligibility, warranty status and required documentation.
• Prepare and configure devices and related equipment when required.
• Explain technical findings and next steps clearly to customers.
• Document technical findings and actions accurately in relevant systems.
• Escalate more complex cases and collaborate with repair and service teams.
