Job summary

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) in Stockholm is seeking an Underwriting Technician to join our growing team. You will support the full underwriting process for Property, Construction, and related portfolios, delivering accurate data and efficient workflow coordination with underwriting and operations.

Qualifications

• Commercial insurance experience, Property/Construction exposure.
• Strong understanding of underwriting processes and policy lifecycle.
• Proficient with data, systems and analytical tools, especially Excel/MS Office.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured way.
• Collaborative and proactive mindset with process improvement attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with full underwriting process including account booking, documentation, and workflow coordination.
• Provide data inputs to support reporting, analytics, and risk assessment; work with Operations to improve processes.
• Support additional operational tasks and coordinate with stakeholders.
