Job summary

AUMOVIO is seeking a Solution Manager Telematics to drive the vision of complex vehicle solutions, coordinate teams, and translate customer needs into concrete technical outcomes. The role is on-site with one of AUMOVIO’s partner companies.

You will own the solution backlog, plan releases, and collaborate across engineering and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliveries. A strong background in real-time systems and embedded Linux is valued.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 6–8 years of experience in developing complex systems.
• Good understanding of software architecture.
• Experience with real-time systems and embedded Linux.
• Ability to define APIs and build foundations for embedded systems.
• Willingness to learn new methods and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Define the solution vision and drive delivery planning in alignment with the strategy.
• Coordinate teams and manage dependencies to enable efficient, high-quality deliveries.

Job Description

As a Solution Manager Telematics, you will be responsible for driving solutions, defining the solution's vision, coordinating teams, and ensuring that the strategy leads to a high-quality outcome. A key part of the role is to identify, understand, and translate customer needs into clear, actionable technical solutions that create true value for the customer.

• Manage customer communication, convey the vision of the solution, provide ongoing updates, and ensure close coordination between the customer and the development teams.
• Have the overall responsibility for the Solution Backlog, where you will continuously prioritize, refine, and ensure that the backlog is up to date and aligned with the solution's goals.
• Be responsible for release planning and overall delivery planning to ensure efficient deliveries in accordance with the agreed strategy and timeline.
• Work in close collaboration with development teams and other stakeholders, where you will coordinate the work, manage dependencies between teams and create the necessary conditions for efficient, high-quality deliveries.
• Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating product quality, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring the continuous development of the solution.

This is a resident role, meaning that you will be employed by AUMOVIO while working on‑site at one of AUMOVIO’s partner companies.

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Preferably 6–8 years of experience in developing complex systems.
• Good understanding of software architecture.
• Extensive experience in developing solutions from start to finish and managing high-value technical relationships.
• Experience with real-time systems and embedded Linux environments.
• Ability to define correct and efficient APIs and build solid foundations for complex embedded systems.
• A quick learner who is comfortable testing new working methods and technologies.
• Good problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working directly with customers.
• Experience with SOA (service‑oriented architecture) applied in embedded environments.
• Strong communication and consultative skills.
• Previous experience with telecommunications within the automotive industry in general.
• Experience with HPC (high performance computing).
