Job summary

AUMOVIO AB is seeking a resident Electrical Engineering representative in Sweden to drive HPC and Software-Defined Vehicle architectures on-site at a customer location.

You will translate system requirements into robust electrical designs, support hardware integration, and coordinate across international teams to meet delivery expectations.

Qualifications

Overview

AUMOVIO AB is a technology and electronics company focused on mobility solutions, including sensor systems, displays, braking and comfort systems, software architecture platforms, and assistance systems for software-defined vehicles. The company is headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany and operates globally.

This is a resident role. You will be employed by AUMOVIO and work on-site at one of AUMOVIO’s customer locations. The position involves acting as the technical representative for the Electrical Engineering organization in Sweden, coordinating across functions to align requirements, priorities, system integration, and delivery expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of next-generation High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) architectures, transforming architectural concepts into robust, production-grade electrical and electronic solutions with a focus on centralized computing platforms, high-speed networks, and integrated vehicle systems.
• Lead the design and development of E/E subsystems; translate system and architecture specifications into detailed electrical designs; provide technical support for hardware integration, system development, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
• Ensure seamless system integration between hardware and software and act as the primary technical liaison across multidisciplinary engineering teams and customer-specific needs.

Requirements

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferably more than 5 years of experience in automotive electrical engineering development.
• Strong knowledge of E/E architectures and HPC platforms (SoCs, GPU-based systems), including exposure to automotive networking technologies such as Automotive Ethernet and CAN.
• Understanding of SoCs, GPUs, hardware accelerators, memory hierarchies, bandwidth considerations, power and thermal aspects.
• Understanding of cross-functional development in an international environment and coordination between systems engineering, software development, testing, quality assurance, and project management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Body Electronics, Vehicle Control Units (VCUs), and/or Battery Management Systems (BMS) for electric vehicles.
• Strong understanding of development methodologies, structured problem-solving, and release-oriented execution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate customer needs into actionable development priorities.
