We are now seeking a Technical Project Manager for one of our clients.

Assignment description We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to strengthen our Project Management in different areas of our key projects at Combat Systems, Naval Programs.

As a Technical Project Manager, you work hand in hand with the Project Management leading the technical work within a customer project. The role is a senior role and you carry a great responsibility managing the overall technical scope as a lead solution architect and also management of the technical teams of the customer project. Customer projects typically consist in the execution of a contract covering the requirements, design, integration, testing and delivery of a combat system for a specific combat ship or class of ships. You therefore have an eye for ensuring that the requirements and technical solutions are well specified and feasible for the project to deliver successfully as per agreements with regards to time, budget, scope and quality.

To succeed in this role, you understand the importance of establishing a project scope using existing products and components as far as possible and you align requirements from customers and other stakeholders with a product roadmap in mind for a system‑to‑system integration. You also enjoy leading technical work and enabling teams and engineers to set the scope, specify systems, perform the design, development and verification of the project deliveries, all performed in a creative and dynamic atmosphere.

The main tasks in the project work are:

• Overall responsibility for the technical scope
• Managing the technical work tasks for specialty engineering staff and technical authority teams
• Manage the technical requirements, design and documentation
• Manage the verification and quality of the technical deliveries
• Contribute to perform the project activities in an efficient and competitive manner
• Manage and work to mitigate the technical risks

You are a confident communicator in both Swedish and English. You share information in a clear and easy way, verbally and in writing. You have a collaborative mindset and you are a true team player!

Required skills and experience:

• Experience working with defense products or work with systems in the naval domain
• Experience in working with systems of system and systems/solution design
• Background from leading roles in SW projects
• Experience in leading people and teams
• Experience in contract management of suppliers
• Experience in negotiations with Customers

Desirable skills:

• Experience working with safety critical systems
• IT security experience
• Experience working with real‑time systems

100% on-site at the customer´s premises. The selection of candidates is done continuously. Good opportunities for an extension of the assignment.
