Job summary

Neo4j is seeking a Tech Lead to own the core platform layer of GraphAware Hume and guide architecture across multiple teams. You will work hands-on with Neo4j to model, query, and scale knowledge graphs, anticipating product needs and driving performance improvements.

You will mentor engineers, shape technical direction, and collaborate with product managers to align roadmaps with long-term platform goals. The role supports remote collaboration across Europe.

Qualifications

• Deep Neo4j expertise including Cypher performance optimization.
• Experience leading architecture for large-scale backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of DDD, TDD and clean architecture.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and drive technical direction.
• Hands-on with graph analytics and knowledge graphs.

Responsibilities

• Own platform architecture and technical direction across Hume.
• Evaluate and test new releases in Neo4j ecosystem.
• Optimize queries for latency, throughput, and scale.
• Mentor engineers and raise the team’s technical bar.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to roadmap.
• Design secure, scalable access control.
• Orchestrate graph analytics workflows.
