Job summary

Betsson Group in Malaga is seeking a Backend Engineering Team Lead to guide a team of developers, drive delivery, and shape the architecture of engagement products for the iGaming industry. You will take an active role in designing and developing next generation solutions and contribute to a healthy team culture.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product managers and stakeholders, and write robust C#/.NET code while promoting modern practices, testing, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development for more than 5 years.
• Experience of managing teams of software engineers.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Agile mindset, business goals orientation.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.

Responsibilities

• People management, mentoring and coaching developers, taking part in recruiting and onboarding, performance reviews, personal development planning and 1-to-1’s.
• Close collaboration with Product Managers, Architects, and Stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements.
• Software development according to modern best practices and principles.
• Taking part in the decision-making process for design or improvement of application architecture, solution development, architecture, and code review.
