Job summary

Betsson Group is seeking a Backend Engineering Team Lead for its Campaigns and Rewards team in Malaga. You will lead a team of engineers, drive delivery, and contribute to designing next-generation engagement products for iGaming.

Lead, mentor, and collaborate with product managers and architects while coding hands-on and ensuring architectural excellence across the stack.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development for more than 5 years.
• Experience of managing teams of software engineers.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Agile mindset, business goals orientation.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.

Responsibilities

• People management, mentoring and coaching developers, taking part in recruiting and onboarding, performance reviews, personal development planning and 1-to-1’s.
• Close collaboration with Product Managers, Architects, and Stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements.
• Software development according to modern best practices and principles.
• Taking part in the decision-making process for design or improvement of application architecture, solution development, architecture, and code review.

Our Campaigns and Rewards team in Malaga is growing and we are now looking for a Backend Engineering Team Lead to join! Engagement at Betsson Group ensures our customers come back for more. As a Team Lead at Betsson Group, you will lead a team of talented people and take overall responsibility for team performance. As the Team Lead, you will take an active role in driving the delivery of your team and promoting a healthy team spirit and culture. You will also participate as a developer in designing and developing next generation Engagement products for the iGaming industry.
