Betsson Group is seeking a Head of Engineering for the Campaigns & Rewards area to lead multiple engineering teams and drive the technical agenda. You will partner with product leadership to deliver on roadmaps, champion key architectural directions, and ensure reliability, security, and scale in our gaming platforms.
You will mentor engineering leaders, manage budgets and timelines, and shape the culture of innovation and high performance across distributed teams.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in a senior or strategic engineering leadership role.
- 10+ years in software engineering roles.
- Experience coaching engineering leaders.
- Passionate about technology enabling business growth and user value.
- Experience with agile product development practices.
- Hands-on in complex, highly available, high-load systems.
- Experience defining OKRs and KPIs using data insights.
- Proficiency in Swedish and English is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead engineering teams across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with product to execute roadmaps and goals.
- Drive architectural direction and technical excellence.
- Ensure platform reliability, security, and performance.
- Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for initiatives.
- Develop metrics to monitor system performance and outcomes.
- Coach managers and leads to foster growth and ownership.
- Represent the function in senior leadership discussions.
