Job summary

TGW Group in Mölndal, Sweden, seeks a Systems Technical Specialist to drive world-class warehouse automation. You will combine deep technical expertise with innovation to keep advanced systems performing at their best.

Working with customers and internal experts, you will solve complex challenges, perform SQL analysis, optimise systems, and contribute to training and go-live activities. A proactive, customer-facing mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• BSc or Yrkeshögskola in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and with customers/end users.
• Experience with SQL Databases (Oracle, MySQL).
• Materials handling / automation experience.
• Experience in writing technical documents and strong Swedish/English language.
• Experience with log file investigation and/or software debugging.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze incidents with the Customer Support team and identify trends.
• Engage with customers about system improvement goals.
• Maintain and review technical documentation; standardise where required.
• Develop training materials for end users and internal colleagues.
• Lead root cause analysis when required.
• Monitor trends across multiple sites and propose improvements.
• Support Lifetime Services projects and initiatives as needed.
• Stay updated with new warehouse control products and embed them with customers.
• Assist in sale and implementation of change requests.
• Coordinate with TGW departments and stay current with releases.

WHAT YOU’LL BE HANDLING

• You work with the Customer Support team to analyse incidents that may have been operator-related and look for trends or improvements
• You engage with customers regarding system improvement opportunities and understand their actual goals
• You maintain, review technical documentation and standardise where required
• You support and develop training and training material for end users and internal colleagues
• You lead and support the root cause analysis process when required
• You monitor trends across multiple sites, investigate & propose system improvements
• You support internal Lifetime Services projects and initiatives where required
• You keep up to date with all new products that are related to warehouse control systems, proposing ideas on how to embed them with new customers and site support teams
• You support the sale and implementation of change requests, ensuring requirements are achieved and continuous improvement ideas are spread and known across the TGW portfolio
• You have communication lines with all TGW departments applicable to the role and customers, and keep up to date with all releases to the warehouse controls systems within the TGW portfolio and understand improvements to the operation

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• You have a BSc or Yrkeshögskola in Computer Science, IT Engineering or equivalent combination of education and proven commercial experience in a similar role
• You have the ability to work on own initiative and without supervision and experience dealing directly with customers/end users
• You have experience with SQL Databases (Oracle, MySQL), database support or performance monitoring
• You have materials handling / automation experience and experience in supporting the go-live phase of a project
• You have experience in writing technical documents and demonstrate strong language proficiency in both written and spoken Swedish and English
• You have experience with log file investigation and/or software debugging
• You have an understanding of software development and the software development lifecycle
