Job summary

Mellifiq is seeking an Automation Engineer in Hägersten, Stockholm. The role covers PLC and HMI programming, development of new and existing products, troubleshooting and maintaining documentation.

You will also perform customer visits, installations, commissioning and on-site servicing, traveling as needed, while collaborating closely with the R&D team. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a technical mindset, capable of taking responsibility, learning quickly, and working

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, control engineering and automation.
• Experience in industrial automation.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Program PLC and HMI, and contribute to development of new and existing products.
• Troubleshooting, technical support, and maintaining technical documentation and manuals.
• Travel to customer sites for installations, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Work independently while also collaborating with the R&D team.

Job Description

The role covers a broad range of responsibilities within automation and control systems. You will be responsible for PLC and HMI programming, contributing to the development of both new and existing products. You will also work with troubleshooting and technical support, as well as developing and maintaining technical documentation and manuals.

The role also includes customer visits, giving you the opportunity to work hands-on with our solutions in the field. This includes installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting. You will work independently while also being part of our R&D team, collaborating closely with colleagues across the organization.

The position is based in Hägersten, Stockholm. The role includes traveling.

Qualifications
