Job summary

Deel is building Sweden payroll operations for a greenfield market. As Country Product Manager, you’ll own end-to-end product strategy and execution, coordinating across compliance, engineering, payroll operations, HR, and time tracking to translate local requirements into scalable products.

You’ll define the roadmap, prioritize ruthlessly, and make trade‑offs to hit market timelines while laying the groundwork for Nordic expansion into Denmark, Norway and Finland.

Qualifications

• Based in EMEA with Nordic timezone alignment essential.
• Fluent Swedish speaker with English for coordination.
• Experience building payroll systems or payroll product roles.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy for the Swedish market across payroll, HR, time, and services.
• Work with a dedicated engineering team to execute the roadmap.
• Coordinate with Product, Time, HRIS, and Services teams to align dependencies.
• Break complex requirements into iterative pieces and ship early.
• Own relationships with key accounts and validate solutions.
• Collaborate with sales and local compliance to ensure scalable solutions.
