Job summary

Valmet in Sundsvall is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our product management team. You will design and develop advanced process machinery and contribute to ongoing product development and workflow improvements in a technically advanced environment.

As part of a 10-engineer team, you will collaborate with R&D, Sales, Delivery Projects and Production to optimize performance, safety and quality while advancing sustainable solutions for pulp, paper and energy industries.

Qualifications

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience in machine design and product development.
Strong teamwork and drive to reach goals.
Fluency in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Delivery Projects and Production.
Contribute to product development and continuous workflow improvements.
Work with product performance, safety and quality as part of the product management team.
Design and develop advanced process machinery.
Participate in R&D projects to strengthen competitiveness.
