Valmet in Sweden invites a Design Engineer to join a global leader in tissue technology. You’ll create drawings and documentation, collaborate across engineering, production, and pre-assembly teams, and own machine sections over time.

You’ll work in an engineering group of about 60 engineers, with opportunities to shape products throughout their lifecycle. Proficiency in English is required and Swedish knowledge is important for this role.

Formación

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or have equivalent professional experience, preferably within mechanical engineering design.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken; Swedish language knowledge is important.

Responsabilidades

• You will create drawings and technical documentation for the purchasing, manufacturing, and assembly of tissue machines.
• You will collaborate with engineering, production, and pre‑assembly teams to deliver high‑quality machine solutions.
• You will contribute to the continuous development and maintenance of products and components.
• You will support customer projects by providing mechanical design expertise and technical solutions.
• You will have opportunities to specialize and take responsibility for specific machine sections or components over time.
