Job summary

Valmet in Sundsvall is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our product management team. You will collaborate with R&D, Sales, Delivery Projects, and Production to advance machinery designs and improve workflows.

Based in a technically advanced environment, you will influence product performance, safety, and quality, participate in cutting-edge R&D projects for sustainable outputs including SAF and recycled fibers, and grow your own expertise.

Qualifications

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in machine design and product development.
Fluency in Swedish and English.
Skills in SolidWorks, CE marking, and pressure vessel design are a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Delivery Projects and Production to advance product development.
Improve workflows and contribute to product management with a focus on performance, safety and quality.
