Job summary

Valmet in Sundsvall is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our product management team. You will design and develop advanced process machinery and contribute to ongoing product development and workflow improvements in a technically advanced environment.

As part of a 10-engineer team, you will collaborate with R&D, Sales, Delivery Projects and Production to optimize performance, safety and quality while advancing sustainable solutions for pulp, paper and energy industries.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in machine design and product development.
• Strong teamwork and drive to reach goals.
• Fluency in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Delivery Projects and Production.

About The Position

In this role, you will collaborate closely with R&D, Sales, DeliveryProjects, and Production, contributing to both product development and the continuous improvement of our workflows. You will be part of our product management team of 10 engineers, working with our products’ performance, safety, and quality in a technically advanced environment. The role offers exposure to emerging technologies and participation intransformative projects for production of sustainable products, including SAF and recycledfibers.

You’llhave the chance to:

Qualifications

• Fluency in Swedish and English.
• Skills in SolidWorks, CE marking, and pressure vessel design are a plus.
