JobBusters AB is recruiting a Project Controller for a dynamic project environment in Södertälje. You will act as a finance business partner to project managers, ensuring financial transparency, informed decisions and successful project execution.

Responsibilities include planning, forecasting, performance monitoring and reporting across product development and customer projects, in a hybrid setup with on-site work 3 days/week.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Economics, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in controlling, financial analysis and project controlling.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, business cases and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to explain financial drivers to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills; English proficient; Swedish is a plus.
• Experience from product development or industrial operations is valued.

Your New Role

We are looking for a Project Controller to join a dynamic project environment in Södertälje, supporting a portfolio of both product development and customer projects. In this role, you will act as a finance business partner to project managers and management teams, contributing to financial transparency, informed decision-making and successful project execution.

You will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting and follow-up, while monitoring project performance, profitability, resource utilization and cost development. You will also analyze business cases and investment proposals, identify financial risks and opportunities, and support the business with relevant corrective actions.

The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across engineering, sales, purchasing, production and finance. You will also prepare financial reports, decision material and presentations for management and governance forums, as well as contribute to continuous improvements of project controlling processes, tools and reporting.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Economics, Engineering or a related field.

• Experience in controlling, financial analysis, project controlling, business controlling or project management support.

• Experience working with budgets, forecasts, business cases and financial reporting.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand technical, commercial and financial drivers.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

• A proactive, collaborative and business-oriented approach.

• Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.

• Experience from product development, industrial operations, manufacturing or customer project environments is highly valued.
