Job summary

Sandvik Coromant is seeking an Origination Management Professional to lead the front end of the acquisition lifecycle. You will translate strategic priorities into investable themes, build market maps, and create robust business cases with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience in strategy, corporate development, M&A origination, business development, or management consulting.
Advanced analytical and commercial capabilities with ability to work across functions.
Ability to translate strategic priorities into investable themes and value creation hypotheses.
Strong market analysis, target screening, financial logic and executive decision support.
Credibility in senior discussions and handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain acquisition themes with strategic rationale, scope, target profiles, screening criteria and preliminary value creation logic.
Build structured market maps and target universes; prioritize companies based on strategic fit and economic attractiveness.
Create proactive deal flow through outreach, networks, advisors and internal stakeholders.
Assess targets, identify risks and dependencies; recommend progression decisions.
Lead development and validation of strategic business cases with owners and experts.
Improve origination methods and governance using analytics and external intelligence.
