Sandvik Group is seeking a high‑impact Head of Mergers & Acquisitions for its Sandvik Machining unit. You will lead the M&A agenda, shape teams and operating models, and report to the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for Machining.

In this global role, you will oversee deal execution from strategy to integration, collaborating with cross‑functional leaders and senior partners across geographies. Stockholm is preferred, with international travel as part of the job.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading M&A transactions end-to-end.
• Strong strategic mindset with ability to translate strategy into action.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building across levels and cultures.
• Experience working in international environments and with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the M&A strategy for Sandvik Machining.
• Oversee all M&A projects across the business area and divisions.
• Drive target identification, due diligence, integration and post‑deal value creation.
• Build and develop the M&A team and practitioner community.
• Report progress and outcomes to the executive team and board where applicable.
