Job summary

Sandvik Coromant is seeking a Head of Corporate Business Development & Acquisitions to shape the growth agenda across organic development, partnerships and acquisitions. You will own origination, integration and value realization with governance and cross-functional leadership across the full lifecycle.

The role combines enterprise-direction with hands-on execution, requiring strong commercial judgment and experience in portfolio management and deal execution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading strategic business development and acquisition-related work.
• Strong capability in opportunity assessment and portfolio management.
• Experience shaping acquisition themes, business cases, integration approaches and value realization.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and succession planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, assessment and development of strategic growth opportunities, adjacencies and new business models.
• Own the opportunity portfolio and Build, Buy or Partner decisions with clear recommendations.
• Set strategic direction for acquisition themes and translate into actionable search fields and investment hypotheses.
• Strengthen origination pipeline and ensure opportunities entering execution have a clear rationale and value thesis.
• Own and develop integration and value realization capabilities, including governance and planning.
• Lead professionals across origination, integration and value realization, coordinating senior stakeholders.
