Sandvik Coromant seeks a strategic Origination Management Professional to lead the front end of the acquisition lifecycle, translating priorities into focused themes and credible business cases. You will collaborate with owners and experts to shape opportunities and build transparent pipelines across Europe, with a preference for Sweden.

The role requires senior-level experience in strategy, M&A origination, and business development, supported by strong analytical and commercial capabilities.

Qualifications

• Track record in strategy, corporate development, M&A origination, or management consulting.
• Advanced analytical and commercial capabilities with ability to connect strategy to value creation.
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders and discretion with confidential information.
• Ability to work independently and build structure across functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain acquisition themes with rationale, scope, target profiles and value creation logic.
• Build structured market maps and target universes; identify and prioritize candidates based on strategic fit and attractiveness.
• Proactively generate deal flow through networks, advisors, investors and internal stakeholders.
• Assess targets, risks and decide on progression, hold or rejection.
• Lead development and validation of strategic business cases with owners and experts.
• Improve origination methods, assessment criteria and pipeline governance using analytics and external intelligence.
