Job summary

Sandvik Coromant is seeking an Origination Management Professional to turn strategic priorities into investable acquisition themes and to drive front-end origination activities across market mapping, target origination and business case validation.

You will collaborate with business owners and experts to create transparent, structured pipelines and robust value creation logic, shaping opportunities for profitable growth with cross-functional teams across Europe.

Strong commercial understanding and stakeholder dialogue.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain acquisition themes with strategic rationale, scope, target profiles, screening criteria and preliminary value creation logic.
Build market maps and target universes; identify and prioritize companies based on strategic fit and economic attractiveness.
Create proactive deal flow through company and owner outreach, networks, advisors and internal stakeholders.
Assess targets, identify risks and dependencies, and recommend progression or rejection.
Lead the development and validation of strategic business cases with owners and experts.
Improve origination methods, criteria, decision gates and pipeline governance using analytics and AI.
