Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies AB in Sweden seeks a Supply Chain & Site Operations Manager to own end-to-end site operations at the Vellinge site. You will lead ~25 blue‑collar employees through managers in welding, assembly, and warehousing.

You will drive safety, quality, and productivity, and collaborate across production, procurement, and central teams to optimize material flow and use of ERP/MRP systems. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes continuous improvement and digitalization.

Qualifications

Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
5–7 years of experience in supply chain/operations in manufacturing
Proven leadership of blue-collar teams in production environments
Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics)
Experience with lean initiatives and continuous improvement
Understanding of Swedish labour law and industrial relations
Fluent Swedish and English (written and spoken)
Valid driving license (B)

Responsibilities

Oversee workshop, warehouse, and assembly operations ensuring safety, quality and productivity
Lead and develop a team through managers across welding, assembly and logistics
Drive health & safety initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
Lead lean and CI initiatives (5S, VSM, Kaizen) to reduce waste and shorten lead times
Coordinate logistics with European procurement and internal stakeholders
Ensure effective use of ERP/MRP systems and high data accuracy for planning
Drive digitalization to improve operational visibility and performance
Lead change management and major operational projects (transfers, reorganizations)
Monitor KPIs: on-time delivery, inventory turnover, lead times, cost efficiency
