Job summary

Winthrop Technologies, a Dublin-headquartered data centre delivery partner, seeks a Logistics Supervisor to join our Eskilstuna site in Sweden. You will supervise on-site storage, coordinate material deliveries from off-site storage, and ensure safe, efficient traffic management for all vehicles and loads.

Reporting to the site management team, you will lead a small logistics crew, optimise storage space, book deliveries, and enforce health and safety protocols while working closely with

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in engineering or construction is desirable.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
• In depth practical knowledge of loads, storage space, sub-contractors and operatives.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the compound for all available storage areas on site.
• Booking and Coordination of delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with Sub Contractors to ensure their understanding of locations for deliveries.
• Maintain organisational skills to ensure deliveries are on site in an orderly manner.
• Attend pre-start meetings with sub-contractors to review on-site challenges and bookings.
• Liaise with sub-contractors to ensure effective traffic management of all vehicles on-site.
• Encourage a 'just in time' delivery approach and ensure deliveries are complete.
• Prevent congestion and ensure loading/unloading occurs within the compound.
• Manage operatives to enforce health & safety and work ethics.
• Record and trace labour allocation and work reports.
