Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking a Site Manager with steel and welding experience for a major Data Centre construction project in Sweden on a freelance/contract basis. Based in Northern Sweden, the role focuses on safety, quality, and on-site leadership.

You will manage steel erection, fabrication and welding on site, lead teams and subcontractors, monitor progress and budgets, and coordinate with clients and engineers. Swedish-speaking candidates and EU passport/residency are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10 years of steel/welding experience on data centre projects.
• Swedish-speaking candidates preferred; EU passport / Swedish residency required.
• 3+1 rotations on site; 12-hour Mon-Fri, 6-hour Sat shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage steel erection, fabrication, and welding on site.
• Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor progress, resources, and budgets to meet delivery targets.
