Job summary

SilverBack is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major green industrial construction project in Boden, Sweden. You will own work packages, coordinate engineering, procurement and construction, and ensure safe, on-time delivery through project execution.

The role requires a degree in Engineering or Construction Management and a proven track record delivering EPC/EPCM projects in heavy industry. Site-based, full-time, with international collaboration and strong safety standards.

SilverBack is recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a major green industrial construction project in Boden, Sweden.

Working as part of the Project Delivery team, you'll take ownership of assigned work packages and coordinate engineering, procurement and construction activities to ensure safe and successful delivery throughout the project execution phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver assigned project work packages through construction and handover.
• Own scope, schedule, budget, quality, and overall package performance.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities across internal teams and external partners.
• Manage and challenge contractors and suppliers to ensure performance against agreed milestones.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation and recovery actions.
• Manage interfaces between contractors, disciplines, and project stakeholders.
• Support technical, commercial, and change management activities.
• Promote strong safety and quality standards throughout project execution.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical discipline.
• Strong Project Management experience within large-scale industrial construction projects.
• Experience delivering EPC/EPCM work packages during the construction phase.
• Strong contractor and subcontractor management experience.
• Background in heavy industry, steel, mining, metals, energy, oil & gas, chemicals or similar process industries.
• Strong understanding of scope, schedule, cost, risk and change management.
• Experience across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning interfaces.
• Strong English communication skills.
• EU work authorisation preferred.
• Full-time, site-based position in Boden, Sweden.
