Job summary

Qualifications

SilverBack is recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of a major industrial construction project in Boden, Sweden.

Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team, you'll be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction activities on site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme, quality, and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee, manage, and direct site construction activities from start to completion.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, client, and project stakeholders to coordinate site delivery.
• Create, manage, and monitor the overall Site Construction Schedule, including weekly 3-week lookahead programmes.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure works are delivered in accordance with design, quality, HSE, budget, and programme requirements.
• Monitor site progress, identify delays or risks, and implement mitigation and recovery actions where required.
• Act as the primary construction contact on site, coordinating with the project team, head office, contractors, and client.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience within the construction sector, with strong hands‑on site management experience.
• Proven experience managing construction activities and subcontractors on large‑scale industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, site coordination, HSE, quality, cost control, and progress monitoring.
• Experience within water/wastewater treatment projects is highly desirable.
