Job summary

JMG Solutions Ltd seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead a major hyperscale data centre programme in Eskilstuna / Västerås region, Sweden. You will oversee construction activities, coordinate contractors and site teams, monitor progress and ensure safety, quality and on-schedule delivery across locations.

Based primarily at one project site, you will travel to nearby locations for inspections, holiday cover, and specific activities, while maintaining strong communication with

• Experience as Construction Manager on large-scale projects.
• Data centre, hyperscale, mission-critical experience highly desirable.
• Strong contractor coordination and site team management.
• Ability to manage programme, quality, and site activities.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel between regional project locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction activities on site.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Monitor progress against the project programme and milestones.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with engineering, HSE, commissioning and project management teams.
• Identify and resolve construction issues, risks, and interface challenges.
• Review method statements, programmes, and construction documentation.
• Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders.
• Provide regular progress updates and report on key issues.
• Support other project locations as required, including inspections and holiday cover.
• Ensure all construction activities are carried out safely and in accordance with project requirements.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join a major hyperscale data centre programme in Eskilstuna / Västerås Region, Sweden. The successful candidates will oversee construction activities, coordinate contractors and subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.

Candidates will be primarily based at one project location but must be flexible to support other nearby sites when required, including for holiday cover, inspections, and specific project activities.
