Job summary

Design Build Search seeks an experienced Onsite Safety Manager for a major data centre project in Sweden. You will lead health and safety protocols, conduct audits, mentor staff, and liaise with client and subcontractors.

The role requires PSCS experience, strong communication and planning skills, and knowledge of ISO 45001/14001. Competitive salary with attractive rotation options on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role essential.
• Experience working in commercial construction sector essential.
• PSCS experience is required.
• Proficiency with safety management systems and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular formal site audits and inspections per Safety Management system/PSCS.
• Attend Safety Leadership Tours.
• Coach and mentor staff to promote a positive safety culture.
• Communicate audit findings to site management and project director and help close issues per policy.
• Assess and improve EHS functions and develop safety initiatives.
• Investigate incidents and identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and information to workforce using appropriate aids.
• Maintain ISO 45001/14001 and Safe T Cert compliance.
• Represent the company with clients, subcontractors and third parties.
