Cota Robotics invites applications for a control room lead position in Sweden. You will manage live operations across stores in Sweden and Finland, starting on day shifts and transitioning to nights as lead. You’ll decide escalation, optimize staffing, and drive handovers to ensure seamless shift transitions.
You will train new teleoperators and translate recurring issues into engineering improvements. Strong communication and decision-making will be critical as you guide the team through
You’ll run the control room while it is live: a team of teleoperators driving robots in stores across Sweden and Finland. When a shift goes sideways, the calls are yours: what gets escalated, what waits, and who takes which store. There is a customer on the other end of every one of those decisions. You’ll start on day shifts and move onto nights, because nights are where most of the operating happens and where a lead is needed most.
Run the room on shift, including coverage, store allocation, and escalation decisions
Own handover so the next shift starts knowing exactly what happened on yours
Train new teleoperators and set the standard for how the work gets done
Turn recurring exceptions into something engineering can act on
Experience in shift-based operations
Calm judgment when several things break at once
Comfortable with technical systems, including reading what a robot is telling you
Willing to make decisions rather than wait for one
Good with people, including supporting an operator having a hard night
Willing to move onto nights over time
Ready to travel, since visits to customer stores are part of understanding how the room should run
Fluent in English
Swedish is a plus
Become the first lead in a control room that will keep growing under you
Start on days while learning the room, then take ownership of nights
Have a real say in how we staff and run robot operations as we scale
Work closely with the engineers building what you operate
